Custom Product Policy

At goldscalping, we manufacture blinds and curtains to your exact specifications, measurements, and design preferences. Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are considered final once manufacturing has begun. We do not accept returns or provide refunds for custom-made window treatments except under the specific circumstances outlined in this policy.

Manufacturing Defects

If your custom blinds or curtains arrive with manufacturing defects or do not match the specifications agreed upon in your order confirmation, we will repair or replace the product at no additional charge. Manufacturing defects include issues such as broken mechanisms, torn or damaged fabrics, incorrect colors or materials, or dimensions that significantly differ from the specifications you provided.

To qualify for replacement due to manufacturing defects, you must notify us within thirty days of delivery. Please contact our customer service team with your order number, photographs of the defect, and a detailed description of the issue.

Measurement Errors

Accurate measurements are critical for proper fit and functionality of custom window treatments. If you provided measurements and the finished product does not fit due to our manufacturing error, we will remake the product at no charge. However, if the product does not fit due to measurement errors on your part, you will be responsible for the cost of remanufacturing.

We strongly recommend using our professional measurement service to ensure accuracy. Products manufactured using measurements from our professional service are guaranteed to fit properly, and we will remake any products that do not fit at no additional cost.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order for a full refund within forty-eight hours of placing the order, provided that manufacturing has not yet begun. Once manufacturing has started, orders cannot be cancelled, as materials have been cut and customized specifically for your project.

To cancel an order, please contact us immediately at the phone number or email address listed below. Cancellation requests made after the forty-eight hour window or after manufacturing has begun will not be accepted.

Warranty Coverage

All of our custom blinds and curtains are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period varies by product type and is specified in your purchase agreement. During the warranty period, we will repair or replace defective products at our discretion at no charge to you.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear. The warranty also does not cover fading or discoloration due to exposure to sunlight, as this is a natural process that occurs with all fabrics over time.

Return Process

If you believe your product qualifies for return or replacement under this policy, please follow these steps:

Contact our customer service team within the specified timeframe for your issue.

Provide your order number, photographs clearly showing the issue, and a detailed description of the problem.

Our team will review your claim and respond within three business days with instructions for next steps.

If approved, we will arrange for inspection or pickup of the defective product and schedule manufacturing of the replacement.

Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not offer exchanges for different colors, materials, or styles unless the original product is defective or does not match your order specifications. If you wish to order products in a different color or style, you will need to place a new order.

Refund Processing

If you are eligible for a refund under this policy, we will process your refund to the original payment method within fourteen business days of receiving and inspecting the returned product. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your account depending on your financial institution's processing times.
